The Perfect Wedding Maui
Cherise has been a great help! We parted ways with the coordinator we started planning our wedding with, and that's when Cherise came in. She has been amazing! So patient, level-headed, and knows exactly what she is doing. She has a great calming effect and is extremely organized! Very responsive with emails/texts/calls and is just overall great. I know our wedding day will go smoothly with her at the helm. |

Food for the Soul
Solely based on all of the reviews online about them, I was pretty convinced that they are going to do a great job! I also chose them because they are a full-service caterer, providing everything from rentals, service, and food. Love the all-in-one aspect. It wasn't until our tasting during our last trip to Maui that my FI was also convinced! Since he doesn't really have a hand in planning, it takes him some convincing (had to convince him about Olowalu, but when he saw the site, he knew). Now, he wants to have a tasting every time we come back to Maui! |

We booked Ben early on because of our date. I knew that I had to get a jump start on booking the bigger vendors in order to get what I wanted! I love the style of his work and his editing. I asked for him to fly down to San Francisco to shoot our e-session because it's where we both wanted to take our pictures, so that's going to happen in a couple months. I'll give you all a review of how he works when we actually work with him! I also chose him because he's a Maui native, so he's familiar with the island. He also communicates very well. UPDATE! We recently took our engagement photos. If you would like to view our online gallery, click here. |

I also booked our videographer early on. I learned later that he had two other inquiries for 12-12-12! So glad I got him! I knew him from when he lived in the Bay Area, but now he resides on Oahu. I love his style of work, and it's definitely what I was looking for, so I'm glad we have him. He communicates very well, is responsive, and quick. Reverend Laki Pomaikai
Rev. Laki Pomaikai was my first choice for an officiant. Luckily, when we decided to work with Cherise of The Perfect Wedding, he was the first officiant she had contacted and he was available. I have seen videos of weddings he has done and absolutely love the lightheartedness style he has. It definitely makes me feel like he will help with my nervousness! |

Maui Sweet Cakes
Of all of the cake bakers we had tastings with (3 of them in total), I loved Heidi's cakes and desserts the most! Her desserts are not too sweet. We were able to try cake, cupcakes, bars, cookies, and cheesecakes. All very delicious. I highly recommend her. |

DJ Boomshot (Jay Langworth)
Of the two DJs we met on our scouting trip, we felt like Jay was on the same wavelength as us. He understood exactly what we are expecting. He is laid back and even provided us with a couple samples of his mixes, which we enjoyed during our trip. We are definitely looking forward to having him at our wedding. |

I initially inquired about a photo booth rental back in October, but was not yet ready to commit. Luckily, when I inquired again in February, Joanna was available for our date! I was so excited! I loved the packages she offers compared to other photo booth companies on the island. Great value and I love the added touch of the photo guestbook, supplies, custom photos, etc. |
